It offers the perfect traditional look with an incredibly slim 35mm midrail, authentic joinery-style mechanical joints and state of the art seamless construction. With a range of customisation options, Ultimate Rose can be styled to suit any project from Georgian through to modern new build. Heritage Units

AWJ has recently invested in the latest technology in glass and glazing. It is now possible for us to manufacture a double glazed unit with an overall thickness of just 12.5mm, and a sight line of 5-7mm.The emissivity coating on the inside of the unit reflects heat back into the room, and by using the very latest in warm edge spacer technology we can ensure that these super slim units still retain an excellent centre pane u-value. These units are ideal for glazing into frames originally designed to hold single glass. And in most cases, local authorities will allow these units to be installed into listed buildings as they appear exactly as the original single glazing.

Heritage Unit Specification:

  • 12mm overall thickness
  • 4mm warm edge spacer bar
  • 5-7mm sightline
  • Low E glass
  • Argon gas filled
  • Made up to a maximum size of 1m²

Conservation Units

In the past, sliding sash windows and Georgian style grid windows (normally found in older and listed property) have meant lack of insulation. But now we have the answer. Our conservation units provide an end to condensation, outdoor noise, and heat loss in older properties, and are the solution for more comfortable living.

Conservation Unit Specification:

  • 16mm overall thickness
  • 8mm Aluminium spacer bar (available in black and silver)
  • 10mm sightline
  • Planitherm glass
  • Argon gas filled
