Sash Windows

Here at AWJ Glazing & Joinery we understand that you may want to keep to the traditional theme of your house. That's why we supply and fit traditional, timber-framed sash windows in whatever style you require, whether you want georgian bars or leaded glass. Choose from traditional vertical opening sashes, or practical horizontal sliders.  All of our box sashes are traditionally constructed with weights and pulleys, incorperating good quality sash cords, brass axle pulleys and correctly balanced weights. All our windows are draught-proof as standard and all timber frames are given a coat of preservative before installation.

Sash windows are ideal for conservation areas or listed buildings where more modern designs would not be suited. If this is the case, you may be interested to find that alteration works carried out on resisdential listed buildings may be eligible for zero rate VAT.
